Eladio Diaz Unveils Limited-Edition 71 Aniversario Cigar for October Release

Eladio Diaz, one of the most revered master blenders in the cigar industry, is set to release his latest masterpiece, the 71 Aniversario. The limited-edition cigar is a tribute to Diaz’s 71st birthday and showcases his continued innovation and craftsmanship, honed over decades in the industry.

The 71 Aniversario is crafted using tobacco from a lesser-known region in the Dominican Republic. The area has recently resumed tobacco cultivation, producing a leaf known for its strength and creamy smoke, a result of the soil’s unique pH levels and high elevation. This release will be available in a Toro vitola (6 x 54) and comes packaged in boxes of 10, priced at $250 per box or $25 per cigar. Only 2,000 boxes are set to be produced, making this a highly limited and exclusive release.

Diaz, who gained fame during his tenure at Davidoff, has a reputation for creating well-balanced, complex blends. The 71 Aniversario follows his acclaimed 70 Aniversario, which was released in 2023 and celebrated his 70th birthday.

Cigar enthusiasts can expect the 71 Aniversario to deliver a stronger profile with creamy notes, thanks to the Dominican tobaccos selected for this blend. The cigar will be available in select markets starting in October 2024, with anticipation already building due to its exclusivity and Diaz’s renowned blending prowess.
